Alon Schuster has served as a Member of Knesset for Blue and White - National Unity since 2019. Born in Kibbutz Mefalsim in 1957, he served in the Nahal and the Paratroopers and was wounded and became a disabled IDF veteran. He served as head of the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council from 2002 to 2018, and in the Knesset served as Agriculture Minister, Deputy Defense Minister and chair of the State Control Committee. In the elections for the 26th Knesset he is running at No. 6 on the Blue and White list.
