About the party

Blue and White: a list for the 26th Knesset with 39 candidates. The scores rest on the record of 4 of the candidates in previous Knessets. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.

Blue and White is a party founded by Benny Gantz, a former Chief of Staff, in December 2018 under the name Israel Resilience. In February 2019 it united with Yesh Atid and Telem, and received 35 seats in April 2019, 33 seats in September 2019 and again 33 seats in March 2020. The alliance broke up in March 2020, ahead of Gantz joining the Netanyahu government. In 2021 the party received 8 seats, and in 2022 Gantz ran with New Hope on the National Unity list, which received 12 seats. The party joined the emergency government in October 2023 and left it in June 2024, and in 2025 it returned to the name Blue and White. Gantz presents as goals a broad Zionist government, an egalitarian draft law, a state commission of inquiry and public education. The list for the 26th Knesset is headed by Gantz, followed by Pnina Tamano-Shata and Aliza Bloch, the former mayor of Beit Shemesh.
