About the party

Religious Zionism: a list for the 26th Knesset with 33 candidates. The scores rest on the record of 7 of the candidates in previous Knessets. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.

Religious Zionism and Zehut is a joint list of Religious Zionism, headed by Bezalel Smotrich, and of Zehut, headed by Moshe Feiglin. On 1 September 2026, the two signed a technical bloc: each party remains independent and may split after the Knesset convenes. The roots of Religious Zionism lie in the Tkuma party, founded in 1998 by Hanan Porat and Zvi Hendel. Smotrich, the finance minister, has headed it since 2019. It ran on a joint list with Jewish Power and Noam in 2021 (6 seats) and in 2022 (14 seats), and the list split in November 2022. Zehut was founded in 2015 by Feiglin, did not pass the electoral threshold in April 2019 and was revived in 2024. Zehut presents a platform of individual liberty and economic freedom alongside applying Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank. In the announcement of the alliance, Smotrich said that at stake are the future of the national camp, the settlements, the judicial system and security. The list is headed by Smotrich, followed by Feiglin and Orit Strock.
