About the party

Israel First: a list for the 26th Knesset with 12 candidates. The scores rest on the record of one of the candidates in previous Knessets. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.

Israel First is a party founded by Sharren Haskel, who served as an MK for Likud from 2015 to 2020 and afterwards for New Hope. In July 2026, after the Knesset approved the law freezing the arrest of Haredi deserters, Haskel resigned as deputy foreign minister, left New Hope and announced the founding of the party, which she defines as a right-wing party. According to her statement, its principles are security, a free economy, education for excellence, expansion of civil liberties and equality in sharing the burden. Haskel said that her goal is a national and Zionist government that will not rely on the Haredi or Arab parties. In September 2026, the Green Leaf party, headed by Nir Yoftaro, announced that it was merging with Israel First, and the list was submitted to the Central Elections Committee under the name Israel First alone. The list is headed by Haskel, followed by Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Roy Danino, a commentator on security and economic affairs on Channel 14 and Kan 11, and Yoftaro. The list has 12 candidates.
