Yisrael Beiteinu is a party that Avigdor Lieberman founded in 1999, and he has headed it since. In 2006 it received 11 seats and in 2009 it received 15 seats, in 2013 it ran in a joint list with Likud, and in the election for the 25th Knesset in 2022 it received 6 seats. In the Bennett-Lapid government, Lieberman served as finance minister. According to Lieberman, it is a Zionist and liberal right-wing party whose vision is based on the teachings of Herzl and Jabotinsky, and he declared that he will not sit in a government with Benjamin Netanyahu. The list for the 26th Knesset was presented on 6 September 2026. It is headed by Lieberman, followed by Rafi Ben-Shitrit, former mayor of Beit She'an and one of the founders of the October Council, whose son Elroi fell in the battle at the Nahal Oz outpost on 7 October 2023, and Colonel (res.) Talya Lankri, former deputy head of the National Security Council. They are followed by MKs Oded Forer and Julia Malinovsky.
