About the party

Joint List: a list for the 26th Knesset with 118 candidates. The scores rest on the record of 6 of the candidates in previous Knessets. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.

Joint List is an electoral alliance of Hadash, Ta'al and Balad, which was established in January 2015 with the participation of United Arab List. It received 13 seats in 2015 and in September 2019, and then 15 seats in March 2020; in 2021, without United Arab List, it received 6 seats. In August 2026, Hadash, Ta'al and Balad agreed on a joint run without United Arab List. It is headed by Yousef Jabareen, chair of Hadash, followed by Ahmad Tibi and Faten Ghattas. According to its declaration, its goals are preventing a government headed by Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, peace between the two peoples and civil equality. On 23 September 2026, the Central Elections Committee decided, by a majority of 18 to 5, to disqualify the list under Section 7A of Basic Law: The Knesset, and also to disqualify the candidacies of Sami Abu Shehadeh, chair of Balad, and of MK Ofer Cassif. On 2 October 2026, the Supreme Court, in a panel of nine justices, overturned the disqualification of the list unanimously and the disqualification of Cassif by a majority of 7 to 2. Abu Shehadeh withdrew his candidacy the same day.
