Yousef Atauna, a resident of Hura in the Negev, previously served as a Member of Knesset for Hadash and worked for recognition of the unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev and for stopping the demolition of homes in them. He was placed at No. 6 on the Joint List on behalf of Hadash in the elections for the 26th Knesset (2026). On 23 September 2026, the Central Elections Committee disqualified the Joint List, and on 2 October 2026 the Supreme Court unanimously overturned the disqualification.
