About

Oded Forer has served as a Member of Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu since 2015 and is a candidate on the party's list for the 26th Knesset at No. 4. Born in Rehovot in 1977, a lawyer with a master's degree in political communication, he served in the Navy as a patrol boat commander in Flotilla 916. He served as Director General of the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration (from 2013 to 2015), and later as Minister of Agriculture and Development of the Negev and Galilee (from 2021 to 2022). He served as chair of the temporary Finance Committee and of the Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs Committee.
