About

Avi Maoz: No. 1 on the list of Noam for the 26th Knesset. In previous Knessets: votes on 544 bills and attendance at 56 committee sessions. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.

Avi Maoz (Avigdor) heads the Noam party, which he founded in 2019 and which is identified with an anti-LGBT agenda and opposition to gender equality. Born in 1956, he previously served as director general of the Interior and Housing ministries. He entered the Knesset in 2022, and in December 2022 was appointed deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Office for "Jewish identity" affairs, with authority over about a tenth of out-of-school educational content; the appointment drew wide public criticism. He resigned in February 2023, returned in May 2023 and resigned again in March 2025. He leads the Noam list for the 26th Knesset.
