Nimrod Sheffer, a Major General (res.), formerly head of the Planning Directorate in the IDF and CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, was placed at No. 11 on the Democrats list headed by Yair Golan ahead of the 2026 elections. A fighter pilot and former chief of staff of the Air Force, he is one of the organizers of the protest against the government, and was removed from volunteering for reserve duty after he signed the pilots' letter.
