About

Avraham Poraz: No. 106 on the list of The Democrats for the 26th Knesset.

Avraham Poraz Pozmantir, born in 1945 in Bucharest, Romania, is running at No. 106 on the Democrats list for the 26th Knesset. A lawyer by profession, he was one of the founders of the Shinui movement in 1974 and a member of the Tel Aviv city council from 1983. He served as Interior Minister from 2003 to 2004 and was dismissed after a vote against the state budget, and admitted that he voted by mistake in place of another minister in a double-vote affair in the Knesset. In 2024 he was reelected to the Tel Aviv city council on the Hai list.

The five committees with the highest attendance in the 25th Knesset. “Spoke” is counted from the committee sessions that were analysed. The data has no committee membership list, so this is attendance and speaking, not formal membership.

No attendance at committee sessions was found in the 25th Knesset. Anyone who did not serve in the 25th Knesset does not sit on committees, so there is no record here.
