Compared with the lists
Israel Katz: +3.6 on the security axis and +0.5 on the economic axis, on a scale from minus 10 to 10. From votes. On the map: 15 of 38 lists.
Israel Katz: No. 6 on the list of Likud for the 26th Knesset. In previous Knessets: votes on 1,118 bills and attendance at 4 committee sessions. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.
Israel Katz, born in Ashkelon in 1955 to Holocaust survivors from Romania, was first elected to the Knesset in 1998 in place of Ehud Olmert. He has held many ministerial posts, including agriculture, transportation, intelligence, finance and, twice, foreign affairs, and has served as Defense Minister since November 2024. As Agriculture Minister he was questioned on suspicion of improper appointments, and the case was closed in 2009 for lack of evidence while noting "irregular" conduct. As Foreign Minister in 2019 he caused a diplomatic crisis with Poland by saying that Poles "suckle antisemitism with their mother's milk." In the elections for the 26th Knesset he is running for Likud with Benjamin Netanyahu, at No. 6 on the list.

The bills whose vote moved the votes-based score the most, on each axis. These are bills that were voted on, not bills that were submitted: the data does not record who proposed a bill.
