Compared with the lists
Avi Dichter: +3.4 on the security axis and +0.9 on the economic axis, on a scale from minus 10 to 10. From votes. On the map: 15 of 38 lists.
Avi Dichter: No. 48 on the list of Likud for the 26th Knesset. In previous Knessets: votes on 1,861 bills and attendance at 139 committee sessions. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.
Avi Dichter has served as Agriculture and Food Security Minister since 2022, and is a Member of Knesset for Likud. He headed the Shin Bet from 2000 to 2005, during the Second Intifada, and afterward joined Kadima and served as Internal Security Minister in the Olmert government (from 2006 to 2009). He moved to Likud in 2012, and has been a Member of Knesset continuously since 2015. At the start of the Swords of Iron war (the war that began on 7 October 2023) he called the operation in Gaza a Nakba of 2023 (a reference to the displacement of Palestinians during the 1948 war), a statement that drew international criticism.
