About
Yoav Ben-Tzur: No. 4 on the list of Shas for the 26th Knesset. In previous Knessets: votes on 1,478 bills and attendance at 332 committee sessions. Plenum votes on bills are included up to 28 July 2026, and committee discussions up to 24 March 2026.
Yoav Ben-Tzur, a Member of Knesset for Shas since 2014, served as Labor Minister from January 2023 to July 2025, when he resigned following the draft law crisis, and before that as Welfare Minister (from 2022 to 2023) and Deputy Interior Minister. He previously headed the Shas faction. In December 2007 he was arrested on suspicion of bribery and fraud, but the case was closed for lack of evidence; a 2008 State Comptroller report found deficiencies in integrity and conflicts of interest during his term as CEO of the Mishkam company (from 1997 to 2007). He is running on the Shas list for the 26th Knesset at No. 4.
