About

Dror David Amos: No. 6 on the list of Shas for the 26th Knesset.

Dror David Amos is running at No. 6 on the Shas list for the 26th Knesset (2026), one of two new faces added to the list by the party chair Aryeh Deri. He is a Major (res.) who served for more than 25 years in the IDF in command and logistics roles, and lives in Yeruham. After retiring from the army he founded and managed the Chesed Chaim VeEmet nonprofit organization, which assists families in mourning and bereaved families, and about a year and a half ago he was appointed chair of the religious council in Haifa. His joining the list stirred controversy: the Itim organization petitioned against his candidacy, claiming that he did not meet the cooling-off period required of a senior public office holder.

No attendance at committee sessions was found in the 25th Knesset. Anyone who did not serve in the 25th Knesset does not sit on committees, so there is no record here.
